CFC allows us to rent N3354X, a Mooney M20E, in case our M20F is currently in use by another club member. The performance and equipment information is below. The M20E is very similar to the club's M20F. It has a 200hp engine, but it is 10" shorter in the cabin. This makes it a little tighter in the back, but the shorter cabin also makes it slightly faster. The other difference is that the landing gear and flaps are hydraulic instead of electric, requiring you to pump pressure in the hydraulic system before activating either. The F model has 150lbs more useful load, but the E model has 12 gallons less fuel so the payload difference is about 78 pounds. The current use rate for members is $155/hr wet.
